This big Santa bank is so adorable and in near-mint condition! He is almost 7” tall with his signature red suit that has scalloped white trim red boots & gloves, and a big candy cane. His his are little black starbursts. He has a JAPAN foil sticker let on the base and has retained his rubber stopper. There is almost no paint loss, and you can tell that he’s hand-painted as all these 1950s/1960s ceramic pieces were.  No chips:cracks/repairs. 
I wish I knew the maker, but it looks like a R/B or Lego piece to me…
