This planter is in near-mint condition and is is a hard to find item made by HF Co Japan in the 1950s. 
Santa is building a snowman and holding an oversized candy cane. He has a sweet, almost childlike face. The snowman has a shiny gold pipe and striped scarf and bright red hat. I assume the candy cane will be his new cane! 
The body of the planter is fashioned from white holly leaves, trimmed in shiny gold. 
Height is 5”. 
The planter is in amazing, like new condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. And the paint is in almost mint-condition. The inside of the planter is clean and appears to be unused. 
Original foil sticker is on the bottom, as is the stamped model number and a stamped JAPAN.
