This hard to find a Holt Howard ashtray creation features Santa flying on a reindeer-shaped airplane. The side of the plane reads “North Pole Jet Stream”, and the entire plane is decorated with sponged gold highlights. The tail wing has candy cane-striped rudders. The reindeer has the sweetest little face with blue-tinted eyelids, long lashes, and shiny gold antlers. On each wing is an indentation to hold a cigarette. The original gold cord reins are present.
 
This piece is 4 inches high, 6 inches wide, 6 1/2 inches long. It is backstamped 6074 on the bottom with the red and gold HH foil sticker.
 
Condition: There is an old repair on the neck of the reindeer. Luckily, it isn’t extremely obvious, and it was a good repair. There is crazing to the glaze topcoat throughout the piece as these vintage ceramics tend to get. Santa has a small amount of red paint missing from his jacket. See pictures—zoom in as needed. I try to take good, clear pictures so that you can easily see all sides and details.
